When Could I Receive My Panels?
OUR PANEL PROCESS
All projects have deadlines, let us know when yours is for panel shipment to arrive at site, and we’ll work backwards from there to set your production timeline. Our production schedule lead time varies depending on our existing pipeline, be in touch to see where your project would fit in. Check out an overview of our process below:
-
1. We meet with you, talk about your project goals and timeline, and get you a proposal to sign.
2. We calculate the embodied carbon and carbon stored in your straw panels for your project.
The time needed for design optimization for panelization with your design varies depending on the status of your design. Once cleared for panelization, our shop drawing process takes 1-3 weeks.
-
3. Our design & engineering team go back and forth with you to get your design ready to panelize.
4. Once ready, we create shop drawings.
-
5. Once approved, we begin production which, depending on size and complexity, typically takes 3-6 weeks.
6. We organize, bundle and ship our panels to your site in ready-to-install packages.
Our fabrication process typically takes 3-6 weeks, depending on project size and complexity, and includes packing for shipment. Shipping can take anywhere from 1 to 4 days, depending on location.
-
7. Your site team installs the panels following our easy to follow Installation Guide.
8. Your project has access to our team for installation, finishing, or aftercare support for up to 10 hours as needed.
9. Another cozy straw building lives happily ever after.
Installation times can vary depending on the team installing, but a 1500 SF single story building is typically raised in 3 days.
